The Woodlock Line

A slight delay to the installation of new platforms, as the roof felt I use, is too brittle to cut in the current chilly temperatures. Also a delay to my building getting installed as UPS has just said it's delayed, after waiting in all afternoon. Joy.

Is that the drain from a condensing boiler? If so, it might need a defrost and lagging...
It's from where the exhaust, is that the right word? comes out of the wall up near the roof, it's been dripping down onto the frozen ballast. It also hits the condensation pipes from the Aircon, resulting in the stalactites.

Two new platforms emerge. It's a bit hard going working with roof felt in these temperatures. I had to keep bringing it in the house to make it more pliable. Eventually got it in place though. Need a few bits of station furniture now, and two doors to make it look like the level crossing exits through the rocks, to platform 1.PXL_20260107_101353449.jpgPXL_20260107_101405786.jpg

Right, building has been assembled. According to the box, it's a pharmacy. But for me it's going to be a station building. This is going to be it's rough location, orientation still to be decided. And it needs a level setting, but frankly it's too cold to be messing about outside. So that's for another day. I was very impressed at the minimal glue usage with this building, it's mostly push fit. A bargain, at £40, partly why I chose it. And, eBay, I found some Playmobil level crossing signs. Again, they need fitting properly, but you get the idea, I'm sure.

Here's the picture dump.
