The Woodlock Line

That is a new and great view, I imagine there will be many similar views to be had on your line, trouble is getting down to them a problem. In my case it would be getting back up again!
There's a few sort of hidden places to snap photos on the line, but it's very hard to get to them now that the garden is established....

Rail buses today. Keep it simple and all that. Despite all my upkeep maintenance yesterday, I still had a problem with one set of points. The motor seemed very stiff to the point that the blade wasn't going across. Oil, cleaning, fettling.... Nothing. Turns out the unused part of the point rod that comes out of the motor was rubbing against the housing... So I cut it off, and we're all good. I've tried to understand problems like this for 20 years and still can't fathom it out. Temperature maybe....

Another photo dump, sorry....

Now the points are sorted, and a bit of ad-hoc ballasting, the rail buses have been trundling round while I wash the car. The best thing I have done to this railway is put the chord in than enables two trains to run unattended and without having to constantly change points.

I must get some more of this plant, it creeps under the rails and into the middle of the track, without affecting the running of trains.

And a long shot of the pig nose trundling over the bridge whilst I finish of drying the car

And the rest. The fence will be getting painted next year as it looks a bit grotty. It's a very shady garden in the winter.

Or possibly small bit of detritus that remains unseen.

Ahhhh the magic key!
You only needed a few keys back in the day, 221/2 Grand master, BR 1, T key (carriage key), drivers key and a FG 1. Now we carry pockets full of them and a list of door codes that would tax Alan Turing
