The Woodlock Line

I think that cat want to tell you something....i think it has to do with attention or something....
You are sure about the loco's name....white pass...or will pass?

Well, you've all come to know Nigel now, the Woodlock Railway Cat. Last night we got home from work to a very poorly Nigel. Sad to say, we had to say goodbye to him. Running the trains will be lonely now, he always got involved some way or another.View attachment 342353
Sorry to hear of your loss duncan1_9_8_4 duncan1_9_8_4 , they quickly become part of the family and are sorely missed.

Ideas and scenic ideas. First idea I have had, and it would allow me to run two trains independently at the same time. Is to link the current siding up back to the mainline, it acts as a turning circle at the moment with a little sliding beyond the points. Only thing is I'm not sure R1 corners will be tight enough to do it without going sharper which I don't want to do. So I'm trying to source some R1 corners to see if it would work, before committing to purchasing points etc. See crude photo editing below..... Obviously the tree would be removed.

Looks like it would work if you removed the pine, if you dig out enough roots they are fine to move around. I have done it a good few times and it has worked well. A good soaking for a few days before digging out and after wards makes a big difference in survival rates. Having 2 trains running at once would be pretty awesome. Hope it works out.
