The Ochsenwaldbahn Line - from the begining again.

Re:The Oxney Island Line - from the begining again.

Yes James - must get the kettle out - a bit of very hot water and they 'ping' straight.

Re:The Oxney Island Line - from the begining again.

Brilliant pics as always:thumbup:

I like the part where you back one loco onto the other, set the double head mode and they pull away together. :)

Yeh! But! I just put one loco on the navigator main and the other on the auxillary control.
Must sit down sometime and work out the double heading config.
I run these two together mainly because they have very similar speed characteristics.

Re:The Oxney Island Line - from the begining again.

Gosh! August was when I lasted posted here.
A few pics to update.
Bredebahn popped round today with a couple of locos (and chocy biscuits - thanks). Be rude not to test them (and the locos!)
First up - from the Brede ost bahn  the Vismar railbus.

This took over the local service from the Frank S and historic coaches.
The 2-10-2 is hauling vans at the back. Replenishing the Islands supplies of beer following extended seasonal celebrations

Re:The Oxney Island Line - from the begining again.

Then the Brede Ost Bahn Kof deisel took over from the Vismar. We spent a happy while discussing the difference between this deisel and my Wangeroo version.

Re:The Oxney Island Line - from the begining again.

Re:The Oxney Island Line - from the begining again.

I have a mental list of things I would like to get at some point in the future. Ni great rush, and this enables me to wait for the right item at the right price.
Had my eye open for these for a while - sometimes they go for silly money.
I got these in two batches, 2 from the Solent group of the GSS and 2 from evilbay.

Re:The Oxney Island Line - from the begining again.

Been playing today. Looks nice doesn't it. Shame its a commission and has already been paid for. Might have to build myself one and try to keep it!

Alan it does look lovely! BUT not very German! ;)
True James, but my lines on an island in Kent! :rolf:

Re:The Oxney Island Line - from the begining again.

Ah well, nearly had a station there Alan. Have to agree with James though - you'll have to design a new casting for a German outline station. Would be a top seller I suspect.

Your station is materialising at about the same rate of knots as the BredeOstBahn!

Re:The Oxney Island Line - from the begining again.

It is a nice bright day down here in the bottom right hand corner.
Busy building Pendlebury orders so I thought I would run some trains to keep me company.
