The Ochsenwaldbahn II, it all starts again.

back to the garden and railway.
Yet more clearance - the gap showing the two telegraph poles is todays clearance - yet more to do. And the brambles are still there, attacking one on the ladder. You could not see the poles from this angle this morning.

And Pfiffi did some load tests on the gradients - managed 7 bogies and a 4 wheeler, which I considered pretty darned good for a 6 wheeler.
Having a rest in the station afterwards!

Those small wheels and lots of weight that TL Locs have will be a big help with this little beauty.

A few more yards of rebuild achieved this evening.
A bit of temporary fencing is going in the gap this weekend - that white house is actually about 40 ft away across the lane.

It has to be adjusted to the circumference of the wheel but it cannot take a tiny number. The LGB metal wheel is 32mm dia. so that's about 100mm circumference. I multiplied this by 22.5 to give scale Km.
The line so far reads at 1.7Km - that's about 75 meters. I guess I have another 30 to go.
I'll start another thread on the other games I have been playing with this.

Yes, me too, like the bridge raillings, super job Alan

Looking good alan

If you could make the timber posts look like concrete the bridge would be complete and spot on too matey.

Yes, thanks Paul. The old brain was ticking in that direction - slowly!
Trying to find a simple but long lived way of making them taper outwards as well.
