The Newly Renamed B&CV Railway

Due to the inconsistent weather little progress was made today. However in poor light conditions, track once again resided in Milburn station from the Southern end.

A test train should reach this area tomorrow after some more track is laid.

The few missing blocks on the Southern approach to Milburn were laid between showers this evening followed by a light engine test run

Looking great. Nice to see a railway grow (or regrow!)

Cheers Ian
I'm looking forward to giving it a good testing too
Any hoo only two blocks left to set til the track bed is complete
The partially cleared flower bed highlights the more flowing track layout North of Milburn

Excellent work Colin. A nice line is really emerging.

Thanks guys
It's kind of odd because I'm building my second garden railway where the first one was
Mainly done for now, it's playtime!

Nice one one Colin, and some nice block laying there I see.

For those keeping count I can confirm that Dave did crash the odd train and Gareths' Corpet failed to climb out of Quay hauling the blue and cream rake.
The only major fault was cured by the swift deployment of a couple of lolly sticks for raising the track level. The assembled dignitaries valiantly consumed a good number of ice lollies to ensure adequate supplies of wood :thumbup:

Hi Colin, thanks for this afternoon, a great time! It's great now to understand the layout properly! Interested to see what will become of the new points

It was a cracking afternoon Colin and the Mk2 layout is going to be even more impressive than Mk1.
Happy to help smoother running by consuming lollies!

Great afternoon Colin sorry I had to go early and pick up the girls from the shops before they had a chance to spend all my cash. New layout is looking really good Colin :)I see Ian had a bit of Rio Grande missed that one :-
