Heres a few photos showing recent progress:
The track now goes around the back of the shed, simply because i was getting fed up of lifting the lawnmower over the raised railway.
Theres going to be a twin track tunnel mouth, to create visual interest and hide the future railway shed entrance. Thes also some loops going in, for those days when theres lots of trains to be run.
Here there will be a lift out bridge, and more scenic work, recent work has involved building the retaining wall and laying the concrete path.
On the other side of the garden, the main full length passing loops have been laid out. the running line is the right hand track, while the other 2 are for shunting.
The concrete was laid as I hafd left over materials from a building project, and it also might act as a durable weed proof membrane.

Here`s the winter update from the Laverstock Garden Bahn.
Over the winter I`ve been acquiring some track and point and as usual I`ve rethought he track plan.
What was the terminus station area has now been widened and made into the main goods yards.
And the scenic break area a tunnel has started to appear, as well a passing loop ready for a station to appear.

Ive made good progress since my last update, However progress will probably slow down a bit as Ive nearly run out of suitable shaped rock!
But today I laid the platform and then reinstated the track and ballast and posed a train to test the size of the loop, and just to see how it looks.
I think that it looks ok so far

Latest update
I`ve got more rocks and carried in the building some scenic mountains
And I`ve also started foam board modelling, results will be shown soon, but it`s lovely stuff to work with, very few trains have run due to the fact I`ve broke my ankle so in limited to indoor modelling at the moment!

And the bricks sizes are 10mm by 6mm as that looks about right and is a nice easy round number to mark out.
And they are just lightly scored into pvc foam board with a screwdriver as seen on the very nice lazy grange bay railway amongst others,

Here`s photos of what I`ve been recently working on whilst laid up injured :
The first of a rake of tanker wagons is approaching completion
And also the very nice swift sixteen well wagon and wooden case have passed through the workshop

Ah 
just do the physio mate. I broke mine right through and did it all and have no probs now. Amazing how hard you can push it. Mind you I had to have mine elevated as much as possible for weeks which screwed modelling for weeks. I chose not to have it pinned either which helps with not having long term twinges.
We will have to make you tea boy when you're back on light duties.

As its been a while here`s a update,
The garden layout is still under construction and slow progress has been made
However lots of progress has been made in the rolling stock department, as there is now a rake of pipe wagons, and also a rake of bogie outside box vans.
The last shot show the marshalling yard in its unfinished state

Today marked a very big and important day, after about a year, the running loop was reinstated and tested!
The plan for this year is to stick with battery and live steam and I find it`s a lot easier to get a train running.
As a test train all the lines stake wagons were formed into a train and sent off round the loop 
The train was a lovely sight trundling round the garden for many laps
More testing and scenic work is planned for the next few days
