Sunday Evening Pictures

Just caught up with the latest pictures of this fine line. That picture of the double-slip and boxcars (in post 296 I think) is one of the best I've seen recently. Really atmospheric.

Thanks for the comments Peter, I am working extra shift at the moment waiting for the cream of the crop to return to campus, cant wait to get the railway back to its normal three day week,

I managed to snatch a few hours today wind was gusty so had to watch the boxcars, used the branchline and found it a bit overgrown just after two weeks, stopped the loco in its tracks, need the help of Agent Orange,

Spot on with both, thats my recycling Gondola, and it takes a few weeks to fill on my own, hic hic, the weeds are a new happening, all because my landlord chopped his trees down and let the 'sun' shine in

Tommorow I start demolishing the first part of the line I built, it has sank by almost five inches now so tired of trying to make it work, last trains have ran through till rebuilt,

Lovely looking pic's Pete
Has your line sunk due to all this wonderful sun shine were having .

Not so much Global warming as dead tree root shrinkage, but been planning a newer and more extended yard layout with extra loops and I have even been planning doubling the main running tracks as well.,

After last weeks running session I decided to start demolishing part of the railway,
it was part of the original and was on set up as a temporary test rack, it lasted three years but was well rotten,
I will use steel supports and frame for the new one,
it had sunk at one end almost five inches,

I agree with Steven, your Saddletank Porter is nice - so much better looking than the sidetank version.
