I do have 2 conversion where I added a DPDT switch to switch between battery and track, just in case I needed track power, though never used it.Question: is it smart to disconnect the wheels and pickups when converting to battery power? I can imagine the current flowing through the tracks into another loco..?

It is still owned by them, so it's likely it was displayed there at some time. Though how and why a metre gauged loco found it's way to Towyn is a mystery. I hardly think they were planning to regauge it ....Didn't Cambrai used to be in a museum at Towyn? Or is my brain scrambled?

Was in the NG Museum at Towyn for quite a few years till the place got rebuilt, cant quote years. She went there in 1960’s after the metre gauge Waltham Iron Stone Quarries in Leicestershire closed. There were apparently 2 Corpets at these quarries. Further details on Cambrai and the Museum below. It is still owned by them, so it's likely it was displayed there at some time.
