I'm sure a tram trailer could be chopped for the carriage section :thumbup:
 
Nice pictures Soeren - looks like there are two Railcars (two fleet numbers) - a future project maybe:thumbup:
 
They had built 5 similar railcars of that type + matching coaches, of which only one survived (in a tram-museum in Northern Germany).
Coincidentally I came across this youtube link to a professional documentary on the former metre gauge network on the island of Sylt:

The documentary was produced by a TV-channel in Winter 1971 short before closure of the line.

Best fast-forward through the interviews and other additional scenes, as there are quite a few interesting views of the rail cars in the landscape.
