Use the "Itinerary" thread for the "where to go" discussion.

I will tidy up this a bit later.

I'm happy to supply a starter coach to be passed around, if the box car is running out of room.

That seems a generous offer. However I fear a coach would have far less room for inscriptions than a van.

just thought a coach would make a change from a van

well theres a coach here that can travel if anyone cares to start it off.

......or write smaller.......................

Quite.
I'm guilty of "writting large" on the boxcar roof, I know, but in defence it was down at one of Stuart's running days in Salcott when Tony (I think?) brought the boxcar along, and the only pen available for any of us to use was a great big splodgy black marker! ;)

Jon.

PS: sorry Mark, we're rambling again.... feel free to delete or move these posts away from the piccies thread!

There's loads of room.... the coach is a generous offer, but maybe when the van finally gets back to Paul. Let the little bugger finish its journey first.

SAT 23rd feb 2013s it landed on my outdoor garden usa railroading from
GE RIK.
now it going to alecsome after.

Seconded........tons of room on there, what do members expect to put on there.......
Sydney Opera House?
The Hanging Gardens of Babylon?
Herds of wildebeest sweeping majestically across the plain?"

Thanks to Steven and Mark (and of course Paul!), the boxcar arrived yesterday on the Lakeland Railroad.
Here is a picture of it on the SG/NG interchange after surviving its journey across the Atlantic:

Then it was eventually coupled to a train, once they figured out the couplers:

Then its off to its next stop...
