Non working emotion xl decoder

Hi all

I was looking for some advice was updating cv on an eotion xl decoder via dimax pc module when sadly the pc crashed. Now I cant read the decoder nor will it let me do a software update how can I fix this?

Do you have a Massoth Handset? You can update certain things via this if you have one.

So which make of DCC Central Station and handset do you have?

How do you normally control your DCC loco's?

All controlled via massoth
Central Station is 1210z
Controller is dimax navigator 813450

And so the decoder can no longer be controlled with the Dimax PC module or equipment , there is no other option than to contact Massoth if then can reset. The firmware is corrupt so this means it no longer responds to anything, also called death.

Ok on your handset the bittom line on the screen has ‘MENU’ press M3 to access that and the second line down says ‘Decoder Progr’ to get to that you select the down arrow by pressing M1.

Note as you pass through the varying options that bottom line will give you different selections by pressing M1-3 buttons.

From here I suggest you read and follow your manual, in mine it is section 5.2.2 and 5.2.3 Decoder Reading and Programming.
