New Basic Oval Layout.

I cut 3 planks on 3 folding tables, so the planks do not butt up together how could I fix that? I’m very new with this by the way this will be all live steam G scale and HO scale oval in an oval.. Can anyone recommend a color when I paint the planks it’s a 5 x 12 set up I will not put any houses or stations or trees or bushes or beds. It’s just a temporary go together. How could I hold these 3 boards together level and put up against each other and what color paint should I use And how many cans Is Krylon good how many cans might I need this is indoor in my basement.

Try using coach bolts and dowels to align the boards. If you want to aint them, but have no scenery as such, id use an earth colour

In the UK, Krylon is a 'rattle can' spray paint. If that's also the case on your side of the pond, you might find it gives too thin a coat; an emulsion paint will cover well and is cheap(er), but is quite porous. Live steamers tend to dribble oil and water, so a non-absorbent paint with an eggshell finish might be best. What material are your baseboards made from?
