At this early stage there are the little lovely's I have.

Apache Junction will only have small engines, not big mainline stuff.
Have those on my HO Gauge layout inside. (PA / PB Units, Big Boy, DD40X Centennial)

No: 5 is a custom made loco I found and bought second hand. Looks as really great
the weathering on her is very good and suits her.

Toby is listed to go to the Workshop for an over haul, as per the one another member here did to his.
Take the face off to start with and weather him up .

The 2 truck Shay is also going for an overhaul. (Weathering and numbering etc)
She was brand new but was sold as second hand, (The original owner when he got it took it out of the box ran it and didn't like it,) anyway runs like a dream and like her.

Hope you like,

How can anyone not like a Shay? Fascinating machines.

I agree you can't dislike a Shay, I have owned several in both 0n30 & G scale, and with sound they are brilliant, on my old line when USA outline featured a lot! It would take a Shay quite a long time ( around 12+ minutes) to do a complete run of the line ( a long single track looped over itself a couple of times so it had 3 levels, with reversing loops at each end, so trains could run continuously. A couple of long passing loops allowed me to pass trains (digitally) quite pleasing with slow Shay ( or climax or Heisler) powered trains

I'm still trying to convince myself that I could legitimately run an anglicized Shay on my South Bucks line. The only Shay that appeared in Britain was the Beast of Bilston. That was standard gauge and not particularly anglicized, but I'm working on it...... (I know, Rule 8!)

Number 5 is my kind of loco. Love it. I which more of my locos could look as good as #5

I like all three - but the custom loco has the edge!

Yes No: 5 ( Clancy) certainly looks great indeed.
When I saw him siting there on the shelf in the hobby shop, looking lonely and unloved I couldn't help my self.
Some more pictures for you then.
