Really like that, Richie. I have the camp car in 0n30. Nice model, have been considering making a larger version using it as a guide. You have spurred me on. Have to be a winter job.

Many thanks for the kind comments
I have the stoves to fit next and some glazing for the windows ,have also made a start fitting lights to the roof which will run off a battery box for night running
Have one more box car to use which might be a MOW as i have a spare USA Trains generator to fit inside .

Hi Steven
Just fitting the stoves and pipes now using odds and ends from my spare box will post some more pics soon .
Have also fitted lights which run on 6 volt batteries .
I might even make some bunks to go inside as the roof just lifts off .

Re:Logging Camp Car From A Bachmann Box Car

Hi Richie,

Nice work, You could now make a kitchen car with a couple of clerestory vents on the roof, and a companion dining car with a full length clerestory with full length windows along the sides (acrylic sheet for those) of it.

Bob Baxter in the USA also had a whole series of shacks the logging crews.

By the way that Matt varnish works a treat have sprayed both my OY tenders and they now have a nice matt finish

Re:Logging Camp Car From A Bachmann Box Car
