This is the Regner Max microlok that I was on about.

That's a nice looking machine, meths fired and IMHO good value at around £220
<Rivet counting mode on> Regner appear to have modelled dummy springs on the axleboxes. I thought the De Winton type locos were unsprung due to the arrangement of the power transmission. Chaloner certainly appears unsprung in the photos. <Rivet counting mode off>

All I'll do Tac is fill the pan with cotton wool with a piece of Gauze on top .

Yes. Look for the words 'Isolierte Radsatze' in their advertisements. It is a bone of contention that in spite of a VERY high proportion of their customers being English speakers, Herr Regner has so far resisted all efforts to persuade him to produce an English version website.

The Max is only driven by one axel so I'm going to get a pair of Regner sprockets and a chain to make it two axel drive.

Shouldn't be too difficult Ricky,they're nut & bolt jobs, won't know though till I see it.
