Anyone got just one of these they'd like to part with? I'm going to be repainting so don't mind wear and tear on the paint finish. It's this body style I'm after: http://www.gbdb.info/details.php?image_id=1170&l=english < Link To http://www.gbdb.info/deta..._id=1170&l=english

(I believe LGB used the same body on a DR coach with a clestory roof - that would also be of interest to me).

Use the Private Messaging system if you can help!

That's the standard four wheel four window coach - I'm after the one with 7 windows that's a touch longer - thanks for spotting it though :)

This is going to be no use to you at all. :)

Ive got one and have fitted smaller wheels and re painted it as used on the W&L. Course its a window to short and steel, rather than wood bodied. shame no one does a scale version of these.

There's a DR-livery one here on evilBay, James - ends in 4 hours or so, only at £45 at the mo.

(at least, I think that's the design that you mean?)

Jon.
Not too far from you either james?

Stockport in Cheshire....

Thanks chaps I had spotted it and managed to get it for £54... Helen (seller) says I can collect in person to save the postage :)

It will be turned out in a drab mid/dark green colour and lettered for the EJ&KLR using some of the custom transfers I had made up in January, as an approximation of this coach running on the StLB in the 1950s/60s.

Great, glad you got it - and at a very reasonable price too for one of those, surprised there weren't more folks after it - plenty of ordinary small LGB 4-wheel coaches go for more than that!

Jon.

Steve - good point - if someone has a Zillertal one they want to swap I'd be happy to? but I have no need for the DR livery :) I agree, it does feel a shame but the price was very good :)

A pity to repaint the good looking DR version as they are usually quite sort after.

Not this time, apparently, or it would have gone for more..... evilBay can be quite odd sometimes.

If you use Google Chrome as your web-browser, it will automatically translate web-sites from many foreign languages for you (with the option to revert to native if requested).

I use it all the time, but still keep Internet Explorer available because some web-sites with poorly coded HTML, style sheets or Javascripts fail on non IE browsers because they have only been tested on Explorer
