LGB Stainz (or similar) wanted...

Well you guys know my son was born three weeks ago today and I've agreed with the wife that he needs his own engine for the garden railway, rather than buying another starter set. So.... I wondered if anyone had a Stainz (or similar) with very light use, in good condition, that would be suitable. My budget is between £50 and 75. You can get new Big Train ones for about £90 delivered (split from sets) but I'd like to source one from the UK first if possible.

Hi James, as you've already got one Stainz in the family, what about a Spremberger (The Borsig 0-4-0 "Kleine Dicke")? I've got one from the digital start set that I'd be prepared to do within your budget, very little run, fine on analogue of course but also ready-chipped for when you finally come over to the Dark Side? ;)

i have a old no1 stainz in brown i'd part with, motor fully overhauled,etc

Sorry Chris, a few other folks had already had the same idea and PM'd me - as James confirmed he didn't want it, a sale to another member has been agreed today.
