How do access the loco lights ?Test drive is a go thanks to you
The braking is programmed through the decoder, not the MTS.
When I get home I will send the manual for the decoder.
Then again you shouldn't have to program any of the braking to get started. It's just a matter of tweaking it to get it to your ligging for when you hit the stop button when it's going at a higher speed. You can make the trains slow down gradually versus abruptly
Hi so this is my actual first run.., it’s good from your adviceI do not understand. "got it but running in reverse on lights"
Please restate what is happening.
If the decoder is wired correctly, you get lights by pressing F then 9.
If the loco is moving forward (or set to forward at zero speed), the front light should be on.
If the loco is moving in reverse, the rear light of the loco (if it has one) should be on.

How do I change it Phil xxPerhaps, the light which is 'on' is opposite to the direction of travel?
PhilP.
What I cant remember now not having had my mits on a 55015 for a lot of years is if you can check what the CV currently is. When changing CV’s best practice is to check current value,
Oh my
You sorted it
It’s running couple of lights need sorting.
Are the loco lights on a function button.
I’m made up thank you we have missed it
Will send a photo
That’s amazing. way to goI know the feeling of having a beer and just watching the little guys roll aroound the track. I just fitted an Massoth eMotion LS into a Spreewald.
I use 28 speed steps with a power buffer. Smooth as silk going over switches.
Three head lights, three reverse lights, and an interior cab light.
It has the Spreewald sound program in it.
She is a beaut!

Great advise it’s a deep world and I’m so so green… will go back to Dave he will know more than me. And yes 55015…..this is the morning after my first run and setting a cv is beyond me at the moment as it stands I’m not sure how to find the loco but I haveChanging Cv’s can be a bit of a challenge. Assuming you have the so called “Loco Remote” 55015 it can be done. What I cant remember now not having had my mits on a 55015 for a lot of years is if you can check what the CV currently is. When changing CV’s best practice is to check current value, right it down then do your required change write that down then confirm change has been done. Great care to ensure that the Cv you are changing is the required one so this is a process that you do need to take great care with double checking every move and what you have input.
Later when you are more confident you should be able to do changes intuitively but recording what you want to change and what you have changed it to a vital part, so a small book with a page for each loco listing details of what CV’s you have revised a very recommended thing to have.
Good plan till you are confident. You can get a small LGB device that will connect your system to a PC where you can do updates and interrogate the CV’s. LGB 55045 that runs on my old Windows 98 Computer, another different unit was needed for a portable with I think USB link. You can just see it is plugged into my 50110 Transformer same as you have. That’s amazing. way to go
I think I will take it back to Dave as it’s defo running rear lights going forward and front when it’s in reverse. And as it’s my first decoder and only loco as it stands it’s prob beyond me.
Proper period set up. I designed steel town murders it’s on the bbc iPlayer at the moment… it was 1972 and 2002 so this gem would have fit right inGood plan till you are confident.
