Hi
I did not know whether to post this here or to reply with my previous post . Anyway here is my other problem I have set this Mogul up to run on a Auto Drive set up in that the engine crosses a reed switch and stops and then starts again when another reed switch on another track is activated. My problem is that I have set CV3 and CV 4 to 30 so when the engine crosses the reed switch the engine speed decreases at a slower rate and when the other reed switch on another track is activated the engine starts again at a slower rate which looks more realistic as I am not using the controller to control the speed the speed is set before the Auto Drive is started. . I have a Phoenix P8 sound unit set in the tender when the engine crosses the reed switch the Cuffs Sounds continue at the higher speed rate and then stops . The same when the engine starts the Engine speed increases slowly where as the sound Chuffs starts at the higher speed. I have been in touch with Phoenix and they recommend that the only solution is to use magnets on the wheels to activate the cuff sounds, has anyone had a similar problem and doses the magnet sensors work . Again that for all your input.
Thanks Frank
