Hi, I need help with an LG B 55021 decoder. Output F1 is currently intermittent and is feeding some flickering lamps. I'd like to know what CV value I need to change so the output is continuous and not intermittent. Best regards

Did the 55021 have a 'flicker' option?

I think it might be the Massoth equivalent?

I can have a look later. - Just arrived in Porthmadog..

Let's start at the beginning:

What DCC system are you using? - If an early system, it may not support all speed-steps settings.

Which light(s) are flickering? - Directional? Cab? Something else?

Are you sure they are connected to F1? - Directional lights tend to have their own dedicated outputs.

I use the mxion mzspro and z21 system. I also looked in the manual and didn't see anything about Flashing lights. The two lamps in the locomotive cab are flashing and are connected to the F1 output. If I connect those lamps to the normal front light or rear light output, they don't flash.

The speed-step settings (for that address) in your Central Station, and that set in the decoder (CV29) need to match.
If the other lights do not flash, I do not think this is a speed-step issue?

I think you have the Massoth equivalent to the LGB 55021.
This decoder does have flashing patterns.

Worst case, you have found a 'feature'. - Software-speak for an unintended fault in the software / communication in the system.

If it's those roof lights on rather than in the roof (its a language thing) as per your photo, then they supposed to flash. My MOW loco (LGB 23330) has something of a similar design on the roof, the built in chip is set to F1 and when activated they flash.

Ah!
Roof lights, as opposed to Cab lights (inside the cab).

As Gordon says, these are meant to flash alternately.

If these ceiling lights are set to blink, they are work lights, but I wanted to make it continuous to activate a sound card, very low consumption, the machine has two identical Decoders and will leave one as is and I wanted to put the other in continuous if possible, but if not, then nothing.

No, the other lights do not flash, they work perfectly.
