Bluerail DCC by Tam Valley

Hi all
I'm currently running a DCC decoder fitted locomotive on track power DCC from Lenz and NCE systems but want to change to wireless battery operation. I know there are several options out there for control but the Bluerail DCC by Tam Valley seems a suitable option, given that a receiver only is needed, and a phone can be used for the transmitter function.
Just wondering if anyone is using this system? Also, can the app be used with Android? Their website appears to refer only to an I phone devise.
Regards to all
Bill

given that a receiver only is needed,
I think you'll find the receiver is built in to the Blunami DCC decoder, so you can't really make it feed another DCC decoder. The only option to do that, as far as I know, is the Airwire Convertr, which receives wireless signals from an Airwire transmitter and passes them to a decoder.

If you are going to pay for the Blunami, then take out the old decoder and use it elsewhere.

Thank you Fred
The product I am referring to is Bluerail DCC by Tam Valley, not Blunami. From what I can make out Bluerail DCC talks directly to the decoder in much the same way as the Airwire Convertr. Revolution Train Engineer has a similar product. However both Airwire and Revolution require proprietary transmitters whereas Bluerail can use a phone. I'm interested in hearing from anyone who is using Bluerail with Android. Would also be interested in comments regards Airwire or Train Engineer if anyone is using those with DCC. I'm using Train Engineer for DC track or battery locomotives but Train Engineer DCC appears to require a different transmitter hence interest in the Bluerail product.

I have written a test of the Train Engineer set up using DCC somewhere in here.

I couldn't find a specific reference to a test of the Train Engineer. However TE is not a likely contender as product is not in stock and supplier couldn't give any real indication of when it might become available. We do use TE for battery DC locos and are quite happy with it.
