Many thanks. I´ll give it a go at the weekend with a bit of luck. At the moment I´m on a delayed Deutsche Bahn ICE to Karlsruhe, so not much chance today :-[

Spring cleaning on the K&NWLR, getting the newly arrived Archangel Cyprus Government locomotive ready for service.

I got Stewart Browne of "Archangel" fame to make one for me. I saw a vintage one on his website, and thought, that´s something for the K&NWLR.

Just steamed my Accucraft NG16 after a major refit and removal of R/C for the K&NWLR. Very slow raising steam, but gradually after almost 25 min was ready to run. And after a little trepidation at the beginning it ran slowly - even majestically - round the track. In fact so much so, that I forgot to take a pics. Tomorrow I hope.

Back down in the cellar doing running-in trials of the Accucraft NG16 after a rebuild and removal of the R/C. Still takes an amazing amount of gas to get steam up, but once it gets going .... :D

I´ll ask the current Ms K&NWLR. However, she´s just worked out that I have more than one locomotive, so she´s a little on the wary side at the moment .... :(
