Hi Folks,
I know that the main large scale model railway interest next weekend will be in Exeter on Saturday, which is a very good show, and from past shows well worth the trip.
However for anyone not able to get down there, but needing a quick fix of large scale model trains, I will be on the 16mm modular layout at the GBMRS in Gaydon motor museum, next Saturday and Sunday (25 / 26th Oct). This is a new show for me, as we are filling in for another layout who had to drop out, we were originally booked to take a layout for next year's show. From what I can see on their website, there is a G scale layout (Roche Junction), and two 16mm layouts ( Hill Farm & Morton Yard, and a small 16mm modular layout), alongside over 30 smaller scale layouts, and a good number of traders. If you are going, do come and say hello, it is always nice to put a face to the names we see on this forum. There is also the motor museum to look around, at a small extra cost, which I am told by people who have been there before, is also worth the time see .
There are more details on their website - Great British Model Railway Show
Maybe see some of you there.
