Just a word of warning to anyone thinking of ordering from here. Placed an order last Wednesday, money taken, and nothing. Not dispatched yet.

Tried online contact form, no answer.
Tried emailing, no answer.
Tried calling, no answer.

But they have my money!

Sorry to hear that.

I've encountered this a couple of times with retailers. In both cases I contacted them saying that unless they respond within 48 hours I'll initiate a chargeback with my bank (if paid by debit card) or Section 75 claim (if paid by credit card) or dispute the charge (if paid by a service like PayPal).

I find it usually works to get them to respond.

Strange. I have used them a couple of times with no problem. Hope they deliver for you

I've used them for mail order and in person a number of times and they've always been excellent, if a little pricey. Admittedly, my last visit in person was late last year. I'm currently not allowed to drive following illness otherwise I'd take a trip down there as they're only 40 mins away.

I've not heard they're in trouble so here's hoping it's a temporary blip.

Right, tried calling another 3 times today. Still no answer. Still no reply to their customer contact form. Still no reply to actual email.

So I can't even request my money back that they've had for a week.

Done a charge back request via my bank. Hope I see my money again.

So much for 48hr Royal Mail Delivery.

I've had an order from them no probs, but that was two or three years ago ........ :mm::mm:

I have ordered from them in the past and had no problems, but as I say it's been a while.

Inadvertently just ordered something from them myself, via Evilbay.

Will see what happens.

And it is already with the Post Office, Picked up and now at Bristol Mail Centre.

Suggest you try messaging through EBAY if not done so already.

But there are times when one would like to know .................:think:

I certainly agree, But also for the original poster to not update the thread when the items turned up, paints the trader rather poorly without justifcation.

Right, well I do paint the trader poorly. A week of no contact, and a week of being unable to contact them both by phone, email, and their very own customer contact form. The order was based on quick delivery (48hr) as per their very own website and order page. A week later they were still uncontactable, so I started a charge back with Virgin Money, which also takes up time. Then for it to just turn up on day 8, still with no contact, and me then having to try canceling the banks charge back process. Yes they are very poor in my experience and will never use them again. Shocking customer service, to the extent you can't even contact them to get your money back, hense the charge back process. With hindsight, a lot of their reviews reflect my experience too.

Note to self, I will always now use a trader whose living depends on it, not one with a glitzy website and a call centre.

Poor, very poor indeed.

My experience.

Ok, With some justification. My order turned up in less than 24Hrs so can only say well done.
Then again I had an item turn up from 1 supplier nearly 2 years after ordering it, (And having received a refund etc. Just turned up in post with a near 2 year old Post Mark.)

Things fall through the cracks. Been there done that. Working for myself and others, Harrods included. Try not to be too harsh. I wonder if the trader monitors forums or gets tip offs ? That's happened to me here, when I seemingly made an ill advised assumption (it turned out to be correct though). Waited nearly 3 years for a loco from its announcement and payment of deposit once. My patience nearly wore out, but I really wanted it. Will mention no names but I was very pleased when it arrived. So all is forgiven. Max.
