How can I adjust the front axel of front truck....

First, I did not call you names (as much as I wished to), and second if you cycled 29 miles in 30c for no good reason, maybe you are an idiot.
Umm stop the name calling please. Lol. I enjoyed it. Great scenery along our great lake and exercise. Exercise is a big cancer fighter. Most of you guys on here across the pond are funny. My neighbours across the street plus many others cycled today. Are they UK idiots too. Ha ha.

Anyways you guys call yourself experts. Today I looked around Sarnia for 14 or 12 v. 2 a rechargable battery with charger... Found nothing. Will the pictures I posted work? ..compatable with an other and go with my engine? When I worked I was an expert at reviving people.... Compressions. Not like tv a lot harder work. I used to see my progress while looking at the monitor. Proper Compressions and drugs brought a lot back.

It's nice that you can cycle distances and enjoy the scenery (wish I could!). I realise that the answers you receive, about the problems you are experiencing, can be difficult to understand. For myself, I like to keep things simple (no digital control, etc). Life's too short as you know - enjoy yourself!

Now that you are going for a Battery Gondola have you thought about a pack of rechargeable NiMh AA batteries? You can get holders that will take 8 easily enough via Amazon, batteries and charger as well. Join the two packs up in series and you have around 19volts. Individual batteries easily removed for recharging as well probably 6 -8 at a time depending on charger.

NOTE: Rant coming on
TTaannggss TTaannggss has asked for advice on this and other threads, and myself along with a good number of other forum members have provided good sound advice, most of which has been ignored. The other day he quoted a post of mine (https://www.gscalecentral.net/threa...-front-axel-of-front-truck.318489/post-669199), and said "Still no excuse to name call." On checking the post I confirmed that I had not called him a name, and so replied to tell him so.

I now find he has PMed me:

Grow up. I put you on ignore. I refuse to put up with your verbal abuse.

I take offence, especially from somebody who's age (according to his profile) is 38 (though he worked in a hospital for 40 years!) telling me to grow up, sorry, but who is being childish now now. Teddy's out of the cot, and as for verbal abuse, there has been no verbal abuse, just some home truths.

Rant over.

Moderators, if you think this is too much I will understand :)

I think you are an idiot for thinking I am an idiot. To who ever it applies to. I am just trying to get my g scale to run nice. So if you are low enough to name call back to ya.
To whom does this refer?

Well I can't really find what I want in terms of battery and charger online as well. Next time I am at a hobby shop I will see what they got. None around here. In the mean time I think I will just rig up my own. Ya

With chest Compressions way too many people go way too fast. I think most teachers teach that the harder and faster you go the better. Well guess what. They are wrong. For an adult you have to keep it around 100 chest Compressions a minute. If you go faster the heart does not fill with blood. I have tried to revive kids and babies....so sad and bless their souls. If there was a code blue and I was on for 40 years 99+ percent of the time I would be doing the Compressions. So there.

Ok just noticed your post and will look into that. While looking around Sarnia yesterday I went to a cell repair shop. They told me to go to Canadian Tire which sells everything but groceries. They recommended plain rechargable batteries. Then when I got home and realized that the 9v I am using now is basicly that all packaged up. I charges my ,9 v twice today. ..thanks

Well still using the 9 volt. I plan on using it till it is junk. Or people just tell me to get rid of it cus it is just too blimy slow. Front truck is still working great. Video taken an hour ago.

Nice!
You are getting there..

There is only one person you need to listen to, on the speed of your train, and that is you. :):smirk:

If you are happy, then 'it is all good'.

That appears to be a pretty good run, speed so much nicer than some of the vids that we see on YT. So well done you are getting there. Looking at your lovely garden you could with little spoilers upgrade to larger curves in the future. LGB R2 would work well and not steal much more space than you have already used. I assume the tunnel is where you keep your train between sessions. Ok but not suitable for the loco over the winter.

Yes thanks. In my ho set up I liked high speed express trains. With garden scale I like slower and meander through the garden.

Yes with track power I was going to leave everything in the tunnel. But with battery power I am charging the battery in the engine on my kitchen stove...and only when I am home. With rechargable batteries there is always the risk of catching fire. Play safe...and thanks.

Looks great. Speed looks good to me, if run time is good, then I would leave keep as is for a while.
Yes and thanks. It will be something I am slowly getting used to. Next project is to make the curve around the palm tree smoother.

Thanks again. I just completed a wooden base for the turn around the Palm tree. Installed it but the grade is still too great so will reduce it tomorrow. To make it fit I realigned around 25 feet of track. I also straightened out the track leaving the tunnel. That is where I put the engine on after a charge. Much easier to put an engine on straight track...or so I thought. Onward and forward. Being an international online community we do have our differences. Trash..usa. Rubbish.. uk ..Garbage ..canada. And learned tonight watching ausie sea patrol reruns Australia says garbage tooo. yaaa. ha ha
