New to G-Gauge, but have extensive experience at N and OO https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCGxwuxZ_3mdL4o7HidfCU4Q/featured

Hoping G-Gauge is as much fun. I intend to do a lot of 3D printing to make mostly my own locos and rolling stock. (see post in 3D printing section)

Aiming for battery powered radio controlled.

Have just purchase 56m of track (ouch, says wallet) and have plans for a simple oval.. for a start (but if you look at the videos, you will see that things have a tendency to get out of hand and expand ;-)

Looking forward to browsing the forum and learning new stuff. !

Welcome to the forum, Andy. You're going the right way about things, start small and build up. There's plenty of advice to be had on here, just beware of the truly awful jokes. And for Christ's sake, DONT MENTION THE CRICKET!

Welcome aboard Andy. I have a "Pen Pal" who lives in Australia. He is also a garden railroader. He sends my the "Garden Whistle" each month. It's a publication from New Zealand. You may be familiar with it. Apparently the file is too large to attach to this post.

Welcome Andy!
A great result, with the loco in the YouTube video...
But, you forgot the lights!
:D:D:D

Buying 56m of track, is definitely jumping in with both feet..

Enjoy!
PhilP.

Hi Andy and all other members.
Bopper from Parkes in the middle of NSW I have not had a lot of time to get onto this site properly. My train site is only small. My big problem out this way is the heat only 38c yesterday, cooler today only 36c.
Bopper.

As of 08:17 (GMT) it is still a Union Jack (on my PC) :)

If you click the 'v' thingamajig it also shows the Aussie flag. Perhaps one is by IP address and the other by user preference. Bopper has specified his 'Country' somewhere in his user profile. I can't find that. Makes as much sense as a Government website. :D

Ah ha! Yes. In the small pop up window it is. I was looking for it in the Account Details page. Like with car keys, I have a form of domestic blindness. :)
Thanks

SWMBO calls that having a "Man Look" but I must confess that I am a sufferer of domestic deafness.
I also suffer badly from CRAFT, Can't Remember A Flamin' Thing. :):););)
