I read the title, put two and two together, and made it in my mind that it read HSB 99 222 climbing out of Berkshire.

The reason I was so excited 99 222 hauled us up was I have the LGB one waiting to run (I'm fitting lawn edging at the moment so the track is out of use!)

Some more track maintenance is required to iron out some of the lumps and the unintended canted corner (!) but it was good enough to have a couple of trains running this evening...

The latest addtion to the Berkshire HSB fleet arrived today (after 5 weeks in Customs exile!) courtesy of Ed's Garten Bahn.

Not on this trip. We were staying in Halle so it was just a day trip to the Brocken and back as it was my friend’s first time on the HSB.

The lawn edging is finally in, and after some track relaying and reballasting, we are back up and running!

Great railway! whats the radius of your curves? I have a similar size garden and those just look right.

Besides the two Piko curved points at the left entrance to the station, it's all LGB Radius 5.

I have some friends with German Gauge 1 locos, so I wanted a circuit where those could run too.
