hello. Newbie here so best I say hello.
I joined up as I have a playmobil set (couple actually) that my wife bought me.
The intention is to build something that i can enjoy and my grandkids too without fear of little hands wrecking!
It's not my first foray into model rail having had large layouts in oo and n in the past. But my first at this size.
I have noticed already though that the general emphasis seems to be on play and fun rather than rivet counting. Which is refreshing!

Welcome! Yes there's plenty of seriously good modelling on this forum, together with a nice relaxed attitude. And we like pitches!

Pitches? As in thrown balls? Or as in large expanses of grass?

Anyway, welcome.
