Some interesting news from the 2019 toy fare Nuremberg –
I never heard before about the Taiwan manufacturer DEDUCE, accessible via

By the way: They do not offer trains only, they help you to “Quickly build a train theme restaurant”. So just in case …

Their most recent product is a nice 0-6-0 steam loco type SL-370 (prototype made in Belgium / Tubize),
Scale 1:16,8 from the Taiwan Sugar Corporation. Price 4.750 €. The ZENNERSHOP offers this loco for 3.600 €

The loco is hand made from metal, weights ca. 5 kg and is equipped with a special smoke generator (I quote)
“locomotive water vapor rapid synchronous smoke system." Seems to work like a vapor e-cigarette...

In my experience of living in Tokyo and working there for almost eight years, the preferred method of 'transport' in sushi bars is provided by LGB and Stainz locomotives.
