All,

We have a MTS central station, and run a Navigator handset off of it..

?I know you can run more than one Navigator on a Massoth CS.. Can you run more than one Nav. on an MTS CS?

?Not having any paperwork for the MTS.. How far can you run an extension for a Nav. / MTS handset?

?Can you run BOTH a MTS handset, and a Nav. on the same MTS CS?

Many thanks, and if there is a link to 'the necessary' for wiring it up please??

PhilP.

*I wold guess a bog-standard run of UTP network cable would work*?

you can definitely run more than one Navigator on an MTS3 when using Radio - done it many times. I would have thought wire linked would be the same.
I used a 15 meter wire link with no problems. Just got an RJ45 extension cable on eBay.
Running both makes has been discussed on here in the past - It looks though it should work but nobody seems to have done it. let us know please?
Check the Massoth site for wiring.

You cannot connect two Navigators as there is only one bus but if you use Massoth DiMAX Adapter 8138001 it has five inputs. The cable length on the Navigator is 10 metres but by using the DiMAX Adapter you can extend it by another 10 metres. The MTS handset can be used. The best way to extend the Navigator is by wireless but if you use the Navigator and MTS wirelessly you need MTS RF Transmitter and receiver. As well as the Massoth receiver both systems can be used concurrently without interference. I expect you are aware that not all the Navigator functions are available on MTS. The MTS components are uni-directional. The Massoth components are bi-directional. I would think about an upgrade to Massoth CS.
