Comparison Between CMP's Jackson & Sharp and Accucraft's San Juan Coaches

Is that a My Loco Sound Card ?

It is, but mine can be turned up to 11 with that speaker and built in sound box

Having said that I'm not too sure about the sound, very synthesised to my ear. The "gear chage" feature leaves a bit to be desired. Engine cruising sound is also a bit too like the cheap 20 sec MP3 clip I downloaded for my WHR generator saloon car a while back. Might need a little tweaking with the remote, like with their steam sounds ?

I have a few MLS cards, so generally happy - 2 diesel (for WHR locos), 3 steam (1 × for a UK NG, 2 x for US NG) and now 3 petrol railcar (all Geese). They are good value but, particularly the latter, they are never quite there to my ear. Although the first sound card I bought for my L&B Manning Wardell (15 years ago ?) was an MLS, since I have used all loco specific - old Soundtraxx Sierra (4), ESU (7) and one Phoenix and Bachmann Tsunami. Mostly because my "electric" steam roster is US NG type, bar one. There are also 3 generic factory fitted Motroniks in Roundhouse and Locoworks deisels that I own. Well you did ask :D

What are you using ? Sorry OP if I am derailing your thread. Max.

P.S. I have just realised I have a lot of sound going on, 25 ! I think the only "silent" thing I have now is the OcCre Madrid tram I built with a USAT motor block installed.

Yep. I've got the MLS card - sounds OK to my electronic ears - I love the start-up, and the crash changes, well, at least they crash :inlove:
