Great new shots there Don. The last one has a great sparse junction feel to it. Even the shed behind lends itself to the scene especially the raised track section running across.
Dudley came over for the Friday bash - I never thought we'd get as far as laying down the first baseboards for the complete circuit. Thanks Dud, superb
The weather was very kind, sunny and warm all morning ! As you can see, it didn't last.......Here's a view from up top........
Amazing what a bit of dry weeather will do (remember dry weather ? )
Perhaps use Thai sweet sauce and have the 'Chilli Line' as part of the layout ( was officially known as the Santa Fe branch of the old Rio Grande narrow gauge)
Musturd for a bit of weathering.:bleh:
Don, I think that both light and heavy weathering have their uses, it depends on how weathered you want and what environment the cars were used in.
There's only one answer - you NEED a whole long train of them, some heavily weathered, some lightly weathered, perhaps the odd one straight out of the paintshop. If the purchase causes domestic difficulties, blame me.
