Re:Broome Lake & Eastern RR

First, there was a seed in dons head, there it lay dormant untill two years ago I asked him to help with misty mountain, he parked outside my house took one look at the large trains running up my drive said wow, and that seed burst forth and just keeps spreading .all my fault? Well yes perhaps, but now look.

Re:Broome Lake & Eastern RR

I have a lot of dormant seeds

Thanks Tony I'll shove a couple in

Re:Broome Lake & Eastern RR

I am pretty much all battery but it is worth having some track power provision for openday which are excellent fun.... Continuing to enjoy this thread

Nice overal shot of your layout Don

Re:Broome Lake & Eastern RR

The shed (or whatever it should be called) board is now laid, and awaiting tomorrow for the felt to be properly attached. What fabulous weather

Re:Broome Lake & Eastern RR

Boards, boards everywhere there's more track here than in the "o" gauge shed any way more fun.

Re:Broome Lake & Eastern RR

Yes indeed Dud - and track on it's way to finish the locoshed off too ! (Trackshack - excellent man is John - the track should be here tomorrow).

And more wood arriving on Thursday, Dud

Re:Broome Lake & Eastern RR

Don, what are you planning to do to the grass in the middle when the track is all laid? Are you going to leave it as is or are you going to landscape it over time?

Looking good BTW.

Re:Broome Lake & Eastern RR

Good question Colin - some grass will be left, some paving slabes laid where it's necessary to get to places, I've just bought some roofing tiles to use as edging, then back up some soil for a bed. Lots of different ideas, but it'll take a lonnnnnnng time for any of that to come to fruition.

Re:Broome Lake & Eastern RR

Track now laid in the locoshed  It's a good job the BL&E is so hard up they can't afford a turntable :rolf:
