Yes indeed, as water features go that will take some beating :rolf:

Re:Broome Lake & Eastern RR

I don't think we can build a bridge for all that water. Out and back with a trestle

Not without you, Dud :)

Richie it'll probably be the lift-out section placed in position with Hillman clamps (nearest thing to gold I'll ever come across) :bigsmile:

See you soon I hope, Mike :)

Re:Broome Lake & Eastern RR

At last the circuit is complete, but not the railway as there is a terminus and team track/coal"mine" etc to still build before it's finished.. Steve (not of this Parish) did sterling work (thanks Steve) with the lift-out bridge and the final link-up (a sort of golden spike :bigsmile: ) while Dud brought along his #1 Grandson Callum, and a section of his Misty Mountail Railroad.

So not only was there a first train to complete the circuit, there was also a first train to tranist between the two railroads.

A great day !

Fantastic :party::party::party::thumbup:

Re:Broome Lake & Eastern RR

The crowd gathered, tears were shed, tea was flowing, as the first engine gathered speed crossed the point and ran down hill passing the golden spike and so completed phase one of the broome lake and eastern railroad. The passengers in the coaches ate the cheese and pickle sandwiches that had been laid on by the company, followed by a celebration cake.

Re:Broome Lake & Eastern RR

No - didn't hear them. Are you sure it was the passengers?
