Re:Broome Lake & Eastern RR

Nice photo's Don

Re:Broome Lake & Eastern RR

Great new shots there Don. The last one has a great sparse junction feel to it. Even the shed behind lends itself to the scene especially the raised track section running across.

Re:Broome Lake & Eastern RR

Dudley came over for the Friday bash - I never thought we'd get as far as laying down the first baseboards for the complete circuit. Thanks Dud, superb

The weather was very kind, sunny and warm all morning ! As you can see, it didn't last.......Here's a view from up top........

Re:Broome Lake & Eastern RR

Can't decide if I prefer the heavier weathering, or the lighter one......

Red in ham sandwiches brown in bacon!!:rolf::rolf::rolf::rolf:

Re:Broome Lake & Eastern RR

I use paint myself, havnt thought of using sauce, I know don't knock it untill you've tried it.

Re:Broome Lake & Eastern RR

Perhaps use Thai sweet sauce and have the 'Chilli Line' as part of the layout  ( was officially known as the Santa Fe branch of the old Rio Grande narrow gauge)

Musturd for a bit of weathering.:bleh:

Don, I think that both light and heavy weathering have their uses, it depends on how weathered you want and what environment the cars were used in.

Re:Broome Lake & Eastern RR

At last ! Someone to blame !!!

(You are quite right of course Mel, I'll have to get LOTS more  )
