Re:Bridge building on the cheap!
Got my first chance, today, to further test the bridges and extension. When I made the bridges I sort of made allowances for keeping the 45 tonner intact. I say sort of because, in reality, I had never (recently) measured its width
I had a notion that if I allowed for the track at a 3" centre from the bridge 'steelwork' things would be OK.
They were, but only just

I was always taught that "near enough is not good enough"

but it this case it will have to be! 3 - 4mm clearance from the sides ...
So if that thing can get through then most other large things will make it too (radii excepted
