Another new van for the PLR

I did exactly that process to some LGB Feldbahn Hoppers yonks ago, but do not touch with the Iron a close call is all that is required then a gentle push with a Screwdriver or something else will work. But worthwhile to experiment on a kit sprue to understand what you are likely to achieve.
I've used a hot air gun to deform my skip wagons.
 
I can see the value in denting the sides of skips, which get a fair bit of battering, but not really sure about denting the roof of a van. To my knowledge, van roofs are generally wooden planks covered in felt. I've seen the odd van with torn felt and the planking exposed, but not seen a dented roof - but I am happy to be corrected.
