Interesting. What is that you're using for mulch?

Mulch? The track bed is laid on concrete, then top soil was brought in, covered in membrane and then after planting the bushy things, slate topping was used. I have not touched the plants in over five years and no weeding is needed. Perfect Railway operating scenerio. This photo was taken in the early days many years ago!
