99-6001 axle drive gear

Looking for the drive gear only (or perhaps axle + gear for one of these..

It appears that Marklin only now supply these as a complete axle with gear and wheels. - The gears were available separately, in days gone by..

LGB have only supplied complete gear and well sets for all locos that have the modern type gear boxes. The only locos that you could be just the gears for were the old 1970s split gear boxes with screw on wheels. You will need to say which axel set you want as all three differ.

I have a couple of photo's, but will have to drop the base-plate off the block to double-check which axle.

I am 90% sure I have swapped these in the past, but it is a few years ago now..

I have 'lost' some of my spares, in the move..
I have found some (all helical-cut) and the box of removed, worn gears)..

Most of the locos have the same diameter wheels but the number of spokes varies and the length of the con rod pin shaft. I have a box a spares somewhere but not sure which variations I still have left.

I am not too worried about the wheels. - I can swap these, if necessary.

It is the rear wheelset, so the longer pin shaft.

The wear to the teeth, is shown to better effect, in this shot:

The teeth should be square..

As the pins are removable the gear wheel with wheels front and rear are the same. Older models had removable wheels so you only needed the axle and gear. Do you have to force the wheel off with current versions? If so that will make quartering tricky.
