Got the yard crane assembled.

As the hawk-eyed will observe, I made a booboo with the bracing: the instructions said cut the supplied wire in half to make two braces; however, there were two pieces of wire and I should have realized that meant one for each brace

Having cut one piece of wire in half and realized my error
, I used the second piece properly and then found an offcut of brass wire in my spares box. Paint will camouflage the deed.
And moving right along ...

Here are the loco shed walls that need straightening. The tower has gone askew, too, which is why the doors aren't level, but I'm just going to live with that.
