At one end the 'Danglebahn' ( thats its British translation I think ) trundles above an active trolleybus line, then runs down the main street......just imagine having it rumble and vibrate past your bedroom window.
The cars are attched by enormous wheels to the overhead track, and the cars swing out wildly on corners as centrifugal force is still functioning in Germany, and health and safety apparently isnt. You have to jiump on the cars in the station rather than board, as the first foot on the car pushes it away from you! It has to be experienced to be believed. I love it.
So I look forward to seeing a working model.
