to watch the vid's at all.
Also worth noting that YouTube's own figures show a drop in viewing

I must confess that my Youtube videos are "Monetized". Yes, I have come out about it. But I do enjoy the check that arrives a few times each year.

The ads allow the video owner to get paid a few pence when/if viewers click on them.
The viewer can also click the X box to cancel the ads.
The owner signs up to have the ads on his video.
I've yet to be paid anything, but it may offset the ISP charges for uploading, and boost railway funds.
(I hope! - one day)

Use the "AdBlockPlus" extension for your Chrome or Firefox browser. Works like a charm. No adverts on any website.
