Hey you all,
This picture was taking before 1943/44 with my great grand father and his fireman.
When they shot him of the "Moerdijk brug" here in the Netherlands, around (wild guess) 1942 he refused to drive further and claimed his pension.

He was a "master" machinist and this was his loco, hauling mostly mail. He was in serves from 1914 to ~1942.
His learning book is dated from 1904, probably bought second handed and is probably not about this locomotive, but past his exams.
Now this is basically all i know, what i dont know is his type or name or brand of loco.
I refuse to believe this was a 3700 series and that the remaining loco's of other 3700's where converted to the 6400 series.(my grandfathers story).
Probably this is a no brainer for some of you but i am out of guesses, sorry.
I hope someone can tell me more about this loco, or can get me into the right track.
I hope i posted this in the right section, or is this question more for the coffee corner?
