Very nice! Assuming a resin print and some weathering to give the relief?
Hi, yes you are right, it is made of resin, printed with anycubic photon. Painted with gray hobby acrylic paint, and aged with pigments. CLICK

Wanted waste pipes and guttering, for my buildings ,which normally I make individually, but given that I have a entire village to build , a set of pre formed parts ie doors ,windows ,gutters and waste pipes ,will make it easier..I think..20210317_190038.jpg

Another new 3D printed car for my tipper series. Built to be a pesticide car for the wine cars, however could be a MOW weed sprayer or even fire fighting equipment. I have a bit more work to do and then paintsprayer1.jpgsprayer2.jpg

itsmcgee itsmcgee .. The quality of those resin prints is stunning.. well done!

I have been progressing "ok" in comparison with my powered 3d printed LGB decoupler.. Your print quality makes my home build FDM (based on a shapeoko router) look very crude..!

The initial PCB's arrived a week ago and after soldering on the SMD processor and driver IC's (and fortunately getting the answer right to "Which way round do they go??") .. I have now programmed a couple for testing.
I have assembled this one with the ICP still attached, so that I can tweak the software, but in a "final" version the side of the enclosure is closed and you cannot see the board.
Good thing is that I can report that the the tiny linear stepper gear can produce about 8oz thrust (I am metric but my spring gauge is older!) and takes about 300mA from 5V when working. This enough to break the pull of the "magnetic" hook spring closure and push both its own hook and any attached hook down - provided they do not get stuck on the internal "lip".. But the "decoupling waltz" should take care of that.

Cheers
Dagnall

Dare I ask?

Are you going to print bunches of grapes, as well?

Hey all. I've been looking for a 1:20 engineer. Left arm on the sill. It's for a small box motor. I use an Ender 3 pro. If I'm in the wrong thread, sorry!

The weekend's handicrafts.
A water tower under construction. The idea came from here: CLICK . The parts were made in my 3D printer. Now they have to be cleaned up a bit and adapted to each other. the roof is also missing.
I will report how it goes on ... .

Nice!
Will you be making the designs available, as I would quite like to print something similar for my railway.

In terms of the roof, maybe plasticard with some additional riveted joining plate detail?

I have stored the STL files in the "Resources". If you are interested, I can also provide the AutoCad Inventor files.

Thank you, I have downloaded. Did you print this in resin or FDM? If FDM, the quality looks excellent! I think I would need to print in resin to get that level of quality.

hi,
you are right, i printed it in resin. I use a Anycubic photon. That is also the reason why there are so many parts. The print bed is not very large (11x6.5x16 cm).
