I have an Emek truck similar to that. They seem to be difficult to find these days.

I also have several 1:24 models of other vehicles, including some RC Huina one which I use with my railway....

Its a pretty nice model, it came with a trailer too. I will use that with a tractor to load at another station.
Very useful for setting the scene at my log loading sidings.
I have seen some on ebay but they are pretty pricey. I have seen the Hiab log grabber sold separately too.

Over the years that I have been involved with G Scale trains, I have also collected various cars and lorries, usually 1:24 scale.

I have a small fleet of MAN tippers that deliver gravel from my fleet of OEG hopper wagons by road....

Mock ups of the roof dormers done today, sticky tape and cardboard everywhere!

Working my way through making spares for the Playmobil Steaming Mary. I had a go at making my own decals but the coloured decals need white underprint to stop the red from shining through. I've gone to a proferssional decal printer to have sets made.
Managed to track down some original bells which have become quite rare. My set came with a replacement bell so its nice to complete it. The roof was a challenge to print reliably but came out well.



I made a working LED headlamp replacement for the Playmobil RC 0-4-0 locos and currently working on doing the same for the Western Mary lantern. For the Western Mary I'm doing two versions; one using my replacement lantern, and one that can be dropped into the original Playmobil part without modification. No wiring - self contained battery and switched by magnetic wand.

Yebbut there's 3mm removed from the bottom of the tenon, so it won't show...
As the mediaeval stone masons used to say, the only people who know will be me, and God.

50 years ago.....my old teacher a "master carpenter", was not so friendly as you....his ruler...is in my shed now....
And yes we all start in the trade making fire wood.

Little production line today - more loco crew figues from Clavey, many handrails being chrome painted, and a tubfull of railcar bits which failed quality control, awaiting another spray.
