As times are hard, trying to avoid expendidture,

had a rummage around and found some odd bits of track here & there

     so advancement has been made,

track nearest camera, joining up to cheap "venitian" track is some odd LGB set track, plus a meter length of nickel plated ( poor) flexible LGB,

plus 2 LGB left hand points separated by a short straight

as I model in 1/12th scale I need plenty of clearance as the wide stock is more than 6inches wide

Then connected to the second point is short length of home made converter track & then a yard of peco G45,

then some odds & ends of offcuts joined together with homemade connecters from thin brass shim

Lined up & set in a weak mix of mortar to rail head outside the track

     BUT

at sleeper level inside the rail

filling inside up to railhead results in the pain of having to clean out grit that tends to lock in the groove there

Ok perhaps for short lengths say at level crossings, but not yards on end

second siding will get up alongside loading bay shortly (I hope)

& eventually along second Warf in the distance
