thanks to Riks master class on weathering finally took the plunge to have a go with my crane .even though I have weathered in the past always a bit worried about doing it .

I like Riks idea of putting it on and wiping it off it worked well on the tool vans roof and sides

Thanks for the feedback.
I must say your weathering looks a lot more subtle and hence more effective than some of mine. I particularly like the rusty runnels on the jib.

I went to Telford and now have a Swift Sixteen 7/8th tub, and a selection of Hartland kits. - All your fault of course.
