Looking for a 45mm live steam loco, prefer gas fired, open to anything really, pm or email me if you have anything along these lines.

Hi RBS, I hope you are successful in finding what you require.
It woulds be great to know what you aspire to, what your railway actualy is, does it exist yet or are you planning it. Photos would be nice.

Or - dare I say it - what the heck do you want a locomotive for.

I want a loco for the line which I shall be laying in the very near future.

I have in the past had LGB layed down in the spare room, and after a few years away from model railways (playing with the larger stuff) have decided to finally have a garden railway. The intention is for the motive power to be purely live steam, however there is already one battery electric for works trains;)

I do have a couple of live steam locos already, but the bug has bitten so there is room for another:)
 
There was a Roundhouse Lady Anne for sale on here a couple of weeks ago, wether it sold or not I do not Know. There is also potentially a damaged one coming up for sale in the near future. However secondhand live steamers are few & far between in the "For Sale" section.

Budget is around the £600 mark,

And to be honest I like anything narrow gauge, whether it be British or European etc.
 
Hi there i have a remote control Roundhouse lady anne live steam loco,its had very little use ,i would be looking for about £850.

I've been thinking about parting with my Roundhouse "Billy" 0-4-0. It's not in the first flush of youth, but works just fine. Factory-fitted with radio-control and insulated wheels. GRS water top up system fitted too. All the original paperwork and packing still available. I was going to ask £750 (new price is £1335), but I'm open to negotiation.
