Wanted for one of my Stainz locos, a front lamp with bulb/bulbholder please.
I'm currently changing my locos over to DCC and noticed that one of them is missing a front light which I failed to see when I bought it off ebay.

Does anyone have a spare they'd be willing to part with after appropriate remuneration?

Thank you,
Les.

Probably Lez. Any chance of a piccie of your loco? I have a feeling there may have been some variations so want to be sure of what I'm looking for.

Having both the "clamshell" and newer "20212" Stainz I can concur the parts generally are NOT interchangeable.

Hello Mike, trust you're well?
Thanks for replying, photo as requested.

It doesn't matter if the lamp isn't exactly as the shown, any similar lamp is acceptable.

Regards,
Les.

Ah!. That's an Otto Les. Yup, I'm positive I've got one, just got to locate it. I'll be back as Arnie said.

Lez2000 Lez2000 as Mike says that is an Otto "toy train" so not a Stainz.
Okay, thanks.
I wasn’t quite sure which is why I referred to it as a Stainz. I’m still at the bottom of the learning curve with G scale. What I have noticed is that the ‘Otto’ dismantles far easier than the Stainz!

On a slightly different note; does anyone know how many variations there are of the Stainz?

Les.

There are 21 listed in the Lok book, but I suspect that there are many more if one includes specials for limited runs etc and possibly different production for USA.

Think I've found it Les. Will be in touch shortly.

Message on it's way.

Beware!

Collecting Stainz, can become an all-consuming addiction! ;)
I only have 75 or so, Based on production varients I know of 23 varients, of the No1, No2 and No4 from 1968 to 1998, there may be more,
